MAP-Asia is partnering with Naucrates Onlus, an Italian NGO, on an Environmental Education project working on sea turtle and mangrove conservation at Phra Thong Island, Phang Nga Province, southern Thailand.

MAP has previously co-funded and assisted Naucrates with a post-tsunami Ecological Mangrove Restoration (EMR) project at Phra Thong in a heavily damaged mangrove with high biodiversity.

MAP Asia is planning a larger EMR project in Krabi province, in collaboration with Wetlands International - Thailand Program, which will be used as a model for future EMR trainings.
