Lukman originates from Riau, Sumatera and came to MAP after working as Indonesian coordinator of Volunteers in Asia. He is involved in all of MAP’s programs in Indonesia, from administration and financial management to GIS mapping, legal drafting, livelihood development, construction oversight of Coastal Community Resource Centers, environmental education, and mangrove restoration. In the future, Lukman is looking to deepen his knowledge of GIS mapping for later practical application in community-based mangrove management.
